The Terrible Primm "250" marked the second year Best in the Desert held this historic race at the Terrible's Primm Valley resort on the California / Nevada border.  For the first time in desert off-road racing, trucks were started side by side in two's at 30 second intervals.  This not only started the race quickly but put the entire field out on the course in record time.  All spectators enjoyed the action. This was also a great spectator race as the teams raced the "Primm gauntlet" past the grandstands that have been erected for the stadium off-road series. Jason Ruane drove the Team Orbit truck to its second win of the year putting them in solid control for another championship.
