Team Orbit went out to the Nevada desert for the Terrible Town "250" held on Saturday, April 30, 2005.  It began with a parade of vehicles that left Parumph at 8:45 am.  The first truck left the starting line at 9:30.  Team Orbit was the first truck to start in Class 7200 and team owner, Mike Ruane, put the pedal to the metal at 10:36.  Mike jockeyed for position for the first 85 miles and brought us into pit 3 with a 10 minute lead.  The only problem was we had lost the rear differential and it took about 45 minutes to change it out. After the repair we were dead last.

 Larry Roeseler took over the driving duties and finished the race.  He caught all competitors but two and finished in third place, 20 seconds before the 4th place finisher.  Below are some of the photos.  Check out the new paint.  It really stands out in the Desert.
