Terrible Town "250" - April, 2006

On Saturday, April 29th Team Orbit went for another win at the Tetrrible's Town "250" outside the town of  Pahrump, Nevada. Mike Ruane started the race with his son Jason as co-driver.  Around Mile Marker 8 the truck in front of Mike moved over to let Mike pass.  At that time the competitor directly behind slammed the Orbit Truck from behind pushing the right front into the truck it was trying to pass damaging the radiator and the power steering.  It seems that is the only way to beat Team Orbit.

The pit support crew met up with the truck at pit #1 and after about an hour of down-time made the necessary repairs.  Larry Roeseler met the truck at pit #3 and finished the race placing the team in second. 

At the end of the second race inthe 2006 Best in the Desert Series, Team Orbit is still the points leader by 16 points.
