About Team Orbit: Team Orbit was founded in November, 2001 by Mike Ruane and Larry Roeseler as an off-road racing team.  An acronym for Off-Road Boys In Trucks, Orbit has quickly risen to the top of the off-road circuit in the deserts of the Southwestern United States and Baja, Mexico.  Mike Ruane has been involved in off-road racing for over 20 years as a fan and a  participant.   He is also the owner of the team.  Larry Roeseler, best known as "LR," started racing in Baja, Mexico in 1972 and is known throughout the world as one of the premier off-road drivers.  Their vision was to put together a team that could compete at the highest level in 2003 with an eye towards growth as the team succeeded.  The initial project was a Class-7 Unlimited off-road truck that was built to be "best in class."   Best in class has been achieved.   In 2003, 2004, and 2006 Team Orbit won the Class 7200 championship in the Best in the Desert Racing Serieis.   They have continued to win races to this day.
